will be held on Sunday at Noon. Entry fee for this event is $30. This event is not open to players registering for the Main Event. Invite your "newbie" friends to join the fun! |
The entrant's published rating as of Jan 1, 2012 will
determine division placement. Players may request to
"play up" if within 100 points of ratings cutoff. Director
retains the right to move entrants to maintain balanced
divisions. Each division will play 17 rounds using Swiss
Pairings, plus 3 final King-of-the Hill rounds.
Main event participants must be current members of
the North American
Scrabble Player's Association. We strongly advise new
players to play at a local SCRABBLE® Club before entering a
tournament. Remember to bring your own deluxe board, racks,
protiles, & clock if you have them.

and The
Millenium Hotel. Some home hospitality
accomodations available on request.
